Outsourced accounting,
tax and audit support in Australia
BAS on the quarter, STP on every payday, super on time - and a set of books your tax agent can lodge from without rebuilding them.
Working in Australia
Australian compliance runs on a tight, predictable quarterly beat, which makes it unusually well suited to an offshore team - provided that team actually knows the difference between a BAS and an IAS, and codes GST at the point of entry rather than at lodgement.
We work in Xero and MYOB, reconcile the GST control accounts every month, and hand your tax agent a file that lodges rather than one that needs a week of cleanup first.
The time zone helps here more than anywhere else we work: Indian business hours overlap the Australian morning, so questions get answered the same day rather than the next one.
Time zones that actually work
India is two and a half to four and a half hours behind eastern Australia depending on the season. In practice that means a full working overlap most of your morning - a question asked at 9am in Sydney is answered before lunch, not overnight.
For firms used to working with providers eight or twelve hours out of phase, this is the single most noticeable operational difference.
What we run in Australia
Each of these is a full service line, not a Australian adaptation of something built for another market.

The recurring statutory dates we run engagements against. We publish these because the single most useful thing an outsourced team does is make sure none of them arrive as a surprise.
| When | What is due |
|---|---|
| On or before each payday | Single Touch Payroll report to the ATO |
| 28 October | Q1 (Jul–Sep) BAS and superannuation guarantee |
| 31 October | Individual and company tax returns for self-lodgers |
| 28 February | Q2 (Oct–Dec) BAS and superannuation guarantee |
| 28 April | Q3 (Jan–Mar) BAS and superannuation guarantee |
| 15 May | Company, trust and partnership returns lodged through a registered tax agent |
| 28 July | Q4 (Apr–Jun) BAS and superannuation guarantee |
Dates shown are the standard recurring deadlines and assume a calendar or standard financial year. They shift for weekends and public holidays, for non-standard year ends, and where an extension or a different filing frequency applies. Confirm your own dates with us before relying on them.
Australia-specific
questions.
The ones Australian firms and businesses ask before the first engagement.
Do you lodge with the ATO directly?
We prepare for lodgement under your registered tax agent or BAS agent number. We are not a registered Australian agent and do not lodge in our own right.
Can you handle SMSF work?
We handle SMSF administration, investment reporting and audit-file preparation. The SMSF audit itself must be performed by an approved SMSF auditor, which we are not - we prepare the file that auditor works from.
Which software do you work in?
Xero and MYOB for ledgers, Xero Tax and Class for returns and SMSF, KeyPay and Xero Payroll for STP. We work in your subscription under a named user.
How do you handle the GST coding on imports and digital services?
At entry, with the treatment documented, rather than as an adjustment at BAS time. Import GST, reverse charge on imported services and GST-free supplies are the three places where quarterly cleanup usually finds errors.
