Fourteen hours of real work,
on one live file, free
Not a demo, not a sample, not a discovery call with a deck. You pick a client or a task you are genuinely behind on, we do the work, and you keep it whether or not you continue.
What the fourteen hours actually is
Every firm in this category offers a free consultation. A consultation tells you how someone sells. It tells you nothing about how they work.
So we offer the work instead. Fourteen hours of delivery on a live file - your file, your software, your deadlines - reviewed by a CPA and Chartered Accountant exactly as a paying engagement would be. At the end you have a finished piece of work, and an evidenced answer to the only question that matters: is this better than what I have now?
If the answer is no, you keep the work anyway. We would rather spend fourteen hours proving we are not the right fit than spend six months in an engagement that was never going to hold.
The terms, in full
- No payment details. No card, no invoice, no minimum spend. There is nothing to cancel.
- No contract for the pilot. A mutual NDA, and that is all. A full engagement letter only exists if you decide to continue.
- You keep the work. Finished, documented and usable, whatever you decide afterwards.
- One live file, agreed in writing. We scope it with you before starting, so both sides know what fourteen hours covers.
- Reviewed to full standard. The pilot is not junior work. A CPA or CA reviews it exactly as they would a paid deliverable.
- No obligation, and no follow-up campaign. If you do not continue, we will ask you once why not - because that answer is useful to us - and then leave you alone.
Why we can afford to do this
Because it works, and because it filters in both directions. Businesses that are ready to hand work over show up with a real file. Those that are not, do not - and finding that out in week one costs both sides far less than finding it out in month four.
It also puts the risk in the right place. You are being asked to trust an offshore team with your clients' financial data. That is a genuine leap, and asking you to sign a contract before you have seen a single deliverable has always seemed like the wrong way round.
What happens after
One conversation, and one of three outcomes. You continue, and we scope a monthly engagement with the pricing set against real observed volume rather than an estimate. You do not continue, and we ask you once what fell short. Or you continue with a narrower scope than you first imagined - which happens often, and is usually the right call.
Four steps, about a week
The only thing we need from you is access and one agreed file. Everything else is on us.
-
Scoping call
Thirty minutes with the founder - not a salesperson. We agree which file, what "done" looks like, and what fourteen hours realistically covers.
Day 0 -
NDA and access
A mutual NDA - ours or yours - and a named user account on your system with the permissions the work actually needs, and no more.
Day 1 -
The work
Fourteen hours of delivery with a daily open-items list, so you can see progress and answer questions as they arise rather than at the end.
Days 2–6 -
Handover
The finished work, a memo covering every judgment taken, and an honest assessment of what a continuing engagement would involve.
Day 7
What people actually use it for
The best pilots are a piece of work you are already behind on. Not a test case built for us - a real one, with a real deadline.
A backlog you have been avoiding
Three to six months of unreconciled bookkeeping on one entity, brought current with a documented list of every correction made.
A busy-season overflow test
Two to four individual returns or one corporate return, prepared in your software to your file conventions, with a preparer's memo.
An audit file section
A full workpaper section - lead schedule, testing, tick-mark legend and conclusion - prepared to your firm's template so your reviewer can judge it directly.
A nexus or exposure review
Where you think you may have missed registrations, a written quantification of where you actually stand across states or jurisdictions.
A UAE Corporate Tax position
Your free-zone or mainland position tested against the actual conditions and written up, rather than assumed.
A month-end close, run once
One full close cycle on your calendar, so you can see the turnaround and the review standard on a real month rather than a promise.
Before you
hand over a file.
The reasonable objections. We would rather answer them here than on the call.
What is the catch?
That we choose the clients we want and use fourteen hours to find out whether you are one. It is a filter, and it runs in both directions - which is why it is genuinely free rather than free-with-conditions.
Fourteen hours does not sound like much.
It is not meant to solve your capacity problem. It is meant to answer one question - is this work better than what you have now - on a real file rather than in a reference call. Fourteen hours is enough to bring a quarter of bookkeeping current, prepare a corporate return, or complete a full audit workpaper section.
What if the work is not good?
Then you have lost nothing but the access you granted, and you keep whatever was produced. Tell us what fell short - we would rather hear it than not.
We are a CPA firm. Will our client know?
Only if you tell them. Pilot work is white-label like everything else: prepared in your software, under your file conventions, delivered to you. We do not contact your client and we do not appear anywhere on the deliverable.
Can we run the pilot on something confidential?
That is the normal case. The NDA is signed before access is granted, access is named-user and permission-scoped, and the controls on our trust and security page apply to pilot work exactly as they do to paid work.
How soon can it start?
Most pilots start within a week of the scoping call. During US and UK busy season that can stretch, because we hold capacity rather than overbook it - if we cannot start when you need us, we will say so on the call.
Pick the file you have been avoiding.
Thirty minutes to scope it, then fourteen hours of real work. Nothing to cancel if you walk away.
