tax and audit support in India

GST, TDS, ROC and statutory audit - run by a Chartered Accountant who implemented GST inside a listed manufacturer rather than reading about it.

Working in India

India is the most compliance-dense environment we work in: monthly GST returns, quarterly TDS returns, advance tax four times a year, annual ROC filings, a statutory audit, and for many companies a tax audit and a transfer-pricing certification on top.

It is also where the founder trained. The GST implementation experience here is first-hand - built inside Vinati Organics, a listed specialty chemicals manufacturer, at the point the regime came into force.

For overseas groups with an Indian subsidiary, this is usually the entity nobody at head office can see clearly. We make it legible: one reporting pack, in the parent's format, with the local compliance position stated plainly each month.

For overseas groups with an Indian entity

The most common India engagement we take is not an Indian business. It is a US, UK or UAE group whose Indian subsidiary reports in a format nobody at head office can reconcile, on a statutory calendar nobody at head office tracks.

We run the local compliance and report upward in the parent's own format and standard - so the Indian entity stops being the line in the consolidation that everyone takes on trust.

The India year, in deadlines

The recurring statutory dates we run engagements against. We publish these because the single most useful thing an outsourced team does is make sure none of them arrive as a surprise.

- Questions

India-specific
questions.

The ones Indian firms and businesses ask before the first engagement.

Do you handle FEMA and FDI compliance?

We handle the accounting and reporting side - FDI reporting, annual return on foreign liabilities and assets, and coordination with your authorized dealer bank. Where a matter needs a legal opinion rather than an accounting one, we will say so and work alongside your counsel.

Can you support a foreign subsidiary setup?

Yes - Private Limited, LLP and OPC formation, registrations, and the first year of compliance. The value is less in the incorporation than in not getting the first twelve months of filings wrong.

What is the GST implementation experience you refer to?

The founder was part of the GST implementation at Vinati Organics, a listed specialty chemicals manufacturer, at the point the regime came into force - mapping transactions, rebuilding the coding and running the first filing cycles under a brand-new law.

Do you work with Indian CA firms?

Yes. The same white-label arrangement applies: we prepare, your firm reviews and signs. Statutory audit opinions and attest work remain with the signing firm.
