Eight years learning what
good actually looks like

Preksha Jain is a Certified Public Accountant and Indian Chartered Accountant. Before founding this practice she spent eight years inside a Big 4 firm, a listed manufacturer and a global bank - which is where the standard on this site comes from.

Why this practice exists

Inside a Big 4 firm you learn what excellent accounting looks like - the review layers, the documentation standard, the discipline that makes work survive scrutiny. You also learn who gets access to it, and who does not.

The businesses that most need that standard are frequently the ones that cannot buy it. A twelve-partner CPA firm in Austin, a marketing agency in London, a trading company in Dubai facing a brand-new tax regime - none of them are getting a Big 4 engagement team. They get whoever is available, at whatever standard that person happens to work to.

This practice exists to close that gap: the review discipline of a large firm, delivered by a small team where the person who sold the work is also the person who reviews it.

The eight years behind it

EY - learning the standard

US and UK tax returns, VAT, payroll and bookkeeping across a wide range of clients. The value of those years was not the technical content so much as the documentation habit: every number referenced to a source, every judgment written down, every file built to be read by someone who was not there when it was made.

Vinati Organics - owning the compliance

At a listed specialty chemicals manufacturer, leading US, UK and Indian compliance end to end - including the GST implementation at the point that regime came into force. Working in industry rather than practice changes what you optimize for: not a clean file, but a business that keeps operating while the rules change underneath it.

BNP Paribas - running it at scale

US and Canada accounting operations, monthly close cycles and multi-GAAP financial reporting at a global bank. Banking is where process discipline stops being a preference and becomes the only thing that works - which is where the security and review practices this firm runs on come from.

What that means for your engagement

Three things follow from the background, and they are the reasons clients say they stayed:

  • A CPA and CA reviews every deliverable. Not a sample. Not the complicated ones. Every one, before it reaches you.
  • Cross-border questions get one answer. Six jurisdictions run by one team means a US-UK or India-UAE transaction is seen from both sides rather than from one side and an assumption.
  • You can reach the person who does the work. There is no account manager layer. If something goes wrong, you are talking to the founder, not to someone who will look into it.

What this practice is not

It is a boutique. That is a real advantage for the work described on this site and a real limitation for some other work, so it is worth being direct about both.

We do not sign US tax returns or issue audit opinions in your place - your firm remains the signing and responsible party. We are not a 1,500-person shop and cannot absorb unlimited busy-season volume, which is why we agree capacity in advance and would rather decline work than miss a filing date. And where a matter genuinely needs legal counsel rather than an accountant, we will say so rather than improvise.

- Meet the Founder

"After 8 years across EY, Vinati Organics, and BNP Paribas, I knew exactly what world-class accounting looked like - and exactly why most small businesses and CPA firms couldn't access it."

Preksha Jain is a CPA and Chartered Accountant who spent 8 years working inside some of the most demanding accounting environments in the world. At EY, she managed US and UK tax returns, VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping across a wide range of clients - learning what great accounting really looks like from the inside.

At Vinati Organics, a listed manufacturer, she led US, UK, and Indian compliance end-to-end. She then brought that cross-border depth to BNP Paribas, leading US and Canada accounting operations, monthly close cycles, and multi-GAAP financial reporting.

After 8 years across a Big 4, a listed corporate, and a global bank, she built TheCPASolutions - the firm she always wished existed for businesses that deserve that same level of expertise. Six jurisdictions, one point of contact, and a founder who has actually done the work.
