Why firms bring this to us

A set of financial statements is where every earlier shortcut shows up at once: an accrual that was never reversed, a lease nobody accounted for, an intercompany balance that does not agree to the other side.

We prepare statements from a reconciled trial balance, with every figure tied to a schedule and every note tied to a figure. Accounting judgments - revenue recognition, leases, impairment - are written up in a memo, so the reasoning is visible before anyone signs.

The framework follows the entity: US GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102, ASPE, AASB or Ind AS. Because one team works across all six, groups with entities in several countries get statements that consolidate cleanly, rather than six sets built to six different habits.

What the engagement covers

  • Year-end accounts - Balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and statement of changes in equity, prepared from a reconciled trial balance.
  • Notes & disclosures - Accounting policies and disclosure notes drafted to the applicable framework, with a completed disclosure checklist kept on file.
  • Consolidation - Group statements for multi-entity structures, including intercompany eliminations, currency translation and non-controlling interests.
  • Monthly & quarterly reporting - Interim financial statements on a fixed calendar, for owners, lenders or a parent company's reporting timetable.
  • Technical accounting memos - Written positions on revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments and impairment, so judgments are documented before sign-off.
  • Audit-ready schedules - Lead schedules, reconciliations and supporting workings packaged for your auditor, so fieldwork starts from answers rather than requests.
- By jurisdiction

The same service, six sets of rules

One team holds all six, which is why cross-border work does not get handed between vendors who each see half of it.

CountryWhat we handle
United States US GAAP statements, ASC 606 revenue and ASC 842 lease accounting, and compilation- or review-ready packs for your CPA firm.
United Kingdom FRS 102 and FRS 105 statutory accounts in Companies House filing formats, and group accounts for UK parent companies.
Canada ASPE and IFRS statements for private and reporting entities, with compilation and review-engagement support.
Australia AASB general-purpose and special-purpose financial statements, including simplified disclosures for private companies.
United Arab Emirates IFRS statements for mainland and free-zone entities, prepared to the standard needed for Corporate Tax filing and free-zone audits.
India Ind AS and Indian GAAP statements in the Schedule III format of the Companies Act 2013, with the schedules your statutory auditor will ask for.
- How we run it

Four steps, and you see the work at each one

Nothing here depends on you changing systems, retraining staff or signing a long-term contract.

  1. Trial balance review

We start from your ledger, test the reconciliations behind it and list the adjustments needed before any statement is drafted.

  2. Adjustments & judgments

Year-end journals proposed with supporting workings, and every accounting judgment written up for your approval.

  3. Drafting

Statements and notes prepared to the applicable framework, cross-referenced to the trial balance and the disclosure checklist.

  4. Two-tier review

A senior preparer reviews, then a CPA or CA reviews again before the draft reaches you.

- Questions

Asked before
every engagement.

If yours is not here, ask it on the call - we would rather answer it before you commit than after.

Do you sign or audit the financial statements?

No. We prepare them; your directors approve them, and your auditor or accountant of record issues any report on them. That separation keeps independence exactly where it belongs.

Can you prepare statements if our books are not up to date?

Yes, but the books come first. We bring the ledger current and reconciled - as a bookkeeping cleanup if needed - and draft the statements from that trial balance, so the figures hold up when someone asks for the support.

Which reporting framework should our company use?

Usually the one required by law or by your lender, which depends on the country, the size of the entity and who owns it. We set out the options that apply to you and the practical differences between them; your directors decide.

Can you handle a group with entities in several countries?

Yes. We prepare each entity's statements under its local framework and a consolidation under the parent's framework, with the adjustments between the two documented.

One live file, one week, no card and no contract. If the work is not better than what you have, you walk away owning it anyway.
